Craft Section

Craft Section Entries Close: Thursday 15th May 2025.​

Elizabeth Ross Memorial Prize of $25 Encouragement Award (Ribbon).

Margaret McPherson Memorial Prize of $50 for Champion Exhibit in the craft (Ribbon).​

CRAFT SECTION CONDITIONS:

  • Trophy for 1st in each section, certificates for all other placing. Note: No section will be awarded a trophy if there are less than two entries.

  • Entry is free but articles must not have been previously entered in the Isisford Show and must be the work of the entrant.

  • All entries must have exhibitors name, address and section attached to each entry.

  • All items to be collected after 4:30pm and before 5:00pm on the show day.

  • No responsibility will be taken for the return of entries to competitors.

  • All care will be taken of exhibits, but no responsibility will be taken for any loss or damage incurred.

Section 1: Any Bed Quilt in machine patchwork, NOT professionally quilted

Section 2: Any Bed Quilt in machine patchwork (professionally quilted)

Section 3: Any Hand Knitted Article

Section 4: Any Crochet Article

Section 5: Any Textile Art Article

Section 6: Any Small Quilt (including cot or wall hanging)

Section 7: Any Cushion Cover

Section 8: Any Handmade Bag

Section 9: Any Open Metal Work

Section 10: Any Junior Craft Item (prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd)

Section 11: Any Open Leatherwork

Section 12: Any Open Woodwork

Section 13: Any Other Article of Craft, not already mentioned..

Entries can be left at Longreach Library & the Isisford Post Office. Blackall entries please contact the steward.

It is the responsibility of the entrants in all sections: ART and CRAFT to arrange for entries to get to Isisford.

Entries can be left at the following locations:

  • Isisford Post Office, Mary St, Isisford, Qld. Ph: 07 4658 8247.

  • Longreach (between Monday 5th May and Tuesday 13th May) at the Longreach Council Library, 104 Eagle Street during their opening hours (for times see web site www.longreach.qld.gov.au/libraries).
