Friday 16th May 2025: Weighing will commence from 3:00pm
Saturday 17th May 2025: All sheep to be weighed and penned by 9:00am. Judging will commence on the conclusion of weighing and penning.

Class 1: Pen of 3 Merino Lambs, Milk Tooth
Class 2: Pen of 3 Merino Ewes
Class 3: Pen of 3 Merino Wethers
Class 4: CHAMPION PEN OF MERINOS
Section 2: Meat Sheep
(Medullated Fibre or other)
Class 1: Pen of 3 Lambs, Milk Tooth. Store under 45kg
Class 2: Pen of 3 Export Lambs, 45kg and above
Class 3: Pen of 3 Ewes, (Mutton)
Class 4: CHAMPION PEN OF MEAT SHEEP
Section 3: Crossbred Lambs
Class 1: Pen of 3 Crossbred Lambs, Milk Tooth
Class 2: CHAMPION PEN OF LAMBS
Section 4: CHAMPION TRADE SHEEP PEN
(awarded at presentations)
Eligible only to the winners of the Champion Pen in their respective section.
REGULATIONS FOR TRADE SHEEP SECTION:

Sheep entered in the competition must be owned by the exhibitor.

The Judge/Committee has the right to reject any entry. Be mindful of infestations such as lice.

Sheep entered in Section 2 to be free of any residual coat or bare shorn.

Sheep with medullated fibre not eligible for Section 3.

The judge’s decision shall be final.

Basis of judging - all pens will be weighed and fat scored. Wool value will be assessed. Uniformity and type will be considered.

Sheep to remain penned for display until 4:30pm Saturday 17th May 2025.

A waybill to be given to steward on arrival.

Points gained from placing from Section 1 classes 1 to 5 will be part of the merino aggregate trophy total.
