WORKING  HORSE  CHALLENGE

Prize Money $1200.

​Nominations and patterns from 3rd to 14th May 2025.

Nomination fees to be paid to Jan and waivers signed between 7:00pm - 8:00pm Friday 16th May 2025 and 8:00am - 9:00am Saturday 17th May 2025.

9:30am Saturday 17th May 2025 - CHALLENGE COMMENCES with Led Section.

Junior

Riders 14 years and under.

Nomination $5.   First - $40, Second - $20 and Third - $10.

Section 1. Led

Section 2. Hack

Section 3. Obstacle

Trophy for Best Score under 12 years.

Hack

Horses that have not won an Novice or Open Challenge.

Nomination $10.   First - $220, Second - $170, Third - $100 and Fourth - $50.    Section 1. Led

Section 3. Obstacle

Open

All Horses eligible.   Nomination $15.   
First - $300 plus Isisford Shire Centenary Perpetual Trophy, Second - $150,
Third - $80 and Fourth - $60.

Section 5. Speed Trial

Horses entering both Hack and Open challenges will carry their Hack Section 1 (Led) scores forward into the Open.

CONDITIONS

  1. All competitors ride at their own risk and waivers signed when nomination fees are paid.

  2. Competitors 17 years and under must wear an approved Safety Helmet.

  3. Prizes can be cash, trophies or a combination of both.

  4. Isisford Sheep & Wool Show Association Inc - Reserves the right to alter the program &/or prizes as deemed necessary.

  5. The events are open to all breeds, ridden in suitable and safe gear.

  6. No stallions to be ridden or handled by riders under 18 years.
